Interview with Anthony Bowers: Founder of Tallant Asia.

Anthony Bowers: I have more than 20 years experience in Asia. I have spent time in China, Hong Kong (SAR) and the Philippines. I have been involved in a mix of commercial and educational roles. For the last 6 years I have been concentrating my efforts in the BPO industry in the Philippines. I established my own company, Tallant Asia, in 2016 in Cebu.[/box]

Anthony Bowers: The goal behind tallant.asia is to help companies around the world to scale and grow. We do this by providing a platform where companies can access highly skilled staff in the Philippines that are employed and managed byTallant. We look after all aspects of the HR cycle from recruitment all the way through to ongoing payroll. We also want to provide meaningful career work to Philippines workers in a safe and enjoyable work environment. [/box]
[box type=”shadow” align=”” class=”” width=””]Newsdesk: Tallant Asia ensures job seekers insurance & other benefits, what about the employers? what is their benefit to hire from Tallant Asia?
Anthony Bowers: Employers face a myriad of problems in HR. Tallant provides a complete solution to solve these problems. For example it could be that a client needs a software developer. However this type of talentcould be hard or impossible to find in their market or ust too expensive. Tallant solves this by finding highly skilled staff at competitive rates.
Sometimes it is not skillset, but scalability that is the issue. In some of our client markets it can be cost prohibitive to bring on multiple staff at the same time because of high rental cost. Tallant solves this by providing A grade facilities at rates far below our client market rates.
Some clients don’t have the capacity or desire to handle their ongoing HR admin. By using Tallant they are able to make use of our HR facilities and ongoing HR admin is provided by Tallant.[/box]
[box type=”shadow” align=”” class=”” width=””]Newsdesk: What is your future goal for Tallant.Asia? Except for Tallant Asia are you working on any other project which might be interesting!
Anthony Bowers: The future goal of Tallant is to be able to expand our presence in other countries in Asia and across the world. I do work with the Rotary Club of Cebu and a particular project that I am very proud of is called Gift of Life. We help provide life-saving heart surgery for young children. [/box]

Anthony Bowers: I would say to your readers that increasingly there a no location barriers to work. Software has moved to the cloud and therefore the operation of that software can be from anywhere. I would urge employers to be open to the idea that the best talent is not necessarily in their own local area but they should local globally to solve their HR needs. [/box]
