Darwin Gosal: I’m CEO and founder of CryoWerx. I am Singaporean born in Indonesia. I didn’t start my career in the field of retail technology. In fact, as Physics major, I started as an academic researcher. Soon, I’m more keen on continuing my career in Information Technology field.[/box]

Darwin Gosal: Food is something very dear to most people in most culture. However, there were no vending machine out there in the market that is suitable for selling fresh foods. Therefore, I see potential in bringing tasty healthy food to consumers using sales channel that is manpower lean.[/box]

Darwin Gosal: I believe the invention of RFID changes the way logistic being done in most industries, including the food industry.[/box]

Darwin Gosal: More fresh foods nowadays are produced in central-kitchen to be supplied to the outlet for a simply assembly and plating. The same central-kitchen is now producing ready-to-eat meals that are suitable to be sold through the vending type of machine. These meals often gone through many advance technique of preservation that preserves the nutritional content of the food, such as blast-freezer and HPP (also known as Pascalization)[/box]

Darwin Gosal: CryoWerx is retail automation company. We build solutions such as Automated Retail Kiosk, Unmanned Shop, and Self-ordering & payment kiosk. In the country like Singapore, as our standard of living goes higher, its people not only expecting better product but also expecting better jobs. Therefore, many service industry, especially F&B outlets faced manpower issue on top of every high rental cost.
We started this company in attempt to help brick-n-mortar retailers to transform their business digitally by adopting an omni-channel strategy.[/box]

Darwin Gosal: In China, we have seen the rise of New Retail concept. We believe that future retailers are those who are able to engage their customers anywhere in the way they choose to. The use of robotic and AI-powered virtual-assistant will slowly gaining ground in that market.[/box]
